These kits feature auto-switching between the portable and mobile radios. When plugged into the motorcycle cable kit, an officer automatically receives and transmits using the mobile radio, through the push-to-talk button on the handlebar. When unplugged from the kit, an officer automatically receives and transmits using the portable radio, through a push-to-talk switch on either an Eliminator or a SuperMic.
