PSE & PIM
PSE | PIM

Single person systems designed for drivers and pump panel operators. The PIM (pumper interface module) provides two radio transmit positions, one in the cab and one at the pump panel. A less expensive alternative to the PIM, the PSE (pump station extension) provides one position at the pump panel.

PUMP STATION EXTENSION (PSE) (top)

  • A single person system that offers a radio transmit position at the pump panel or other exterior location.
  • Setcom offers PSEs for use with all commonly used mobile radios.
  • For those mobile radios without an available accessory port, Setcom offers microphone adapters which provide plug and play installation through a radio's hand microphone port, provided that use of the hand microphone is not required.
  • The PSE accommodates a wide range of Setcom headsets; the push-to-talk button is typically located either in the headset cup or in-line.
  • The pump panel position is mounted in a rugged weatherproof enclosure, with a gasketed lid for the headset jack.
  • Interconnect cable between the mobile radio and the pump panel position incorporates a shield on the microphone line and on the overall cable to prevent RF and EM interference.
  • Radio transmit headset can be used with a portable radio using an adapter cable (PRAC).
